GREENVILLE, S.C. – Members of the Upstate Jewish community will be taking part in a statewide Advocacy Day at the South Carolina State House next month.

This Advocacy Day is not just a meeting --  but a movement where participants will hear from Jewish community advocates including representatives from Jewish Federations of North America, Secure Communities Network, Anita Zucker, and CEO’s from the Jewish Federations of South Carolina among others. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and discuss issues with their legislators and government officials. Participants will also have the opportunity to tour the Anne Frank Center as part of the day’s events.

SC Jewish Community Advocacy Day will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the State House.

“This landmark gathering aims to educate participants on statewide issues impacting Jewish communities, foster direct dialogue with legislators and government leaders, and make an impact on our state,” said Courtney Tessler, CEO of the Greenville Jewish Federation.

Jewish community members and allies are encouraged to participate to be part of a collective voice for South Carolina's Jewish community, she said. Registration is required and space is limited. Detailed information will be shared with registered participants regarding the schedule and logistics the week prior. Please register at bit.ly/jewishscadvocacy.
