Two Minutes with Justin Jenkins

Justin Jenkins is the president and owner of Greenville company Paveway Express LTD Co. He’s a Greenville native, and in 2020 was honored with the Minority Business of the Year Award by the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.

Jenkins founded Paveway Express in 2017 and now his company has 42 employees and works with high-profile customers such as BMW, Volvo, and Volkswagen. The company not only operates around-the-clock shuttles between a variety of warehouses but also transports car parts (hoods, seats, headliners) to many automotive-manufacturing suppliers.

Part of Paveway’s growth success comes from the chamber’s Minority Business Accelerator, which is a part of the chamber’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion program. Jenkins, who was actually awarded the Accelerator Award in this program, says the program allowed him to scale his company to another level and he is just one of over 100 of the program’s participants.

We wanted to get to know Jenkins a little better, so we asked him some questions about his favorite things. Here’s what he had to say:


What are your favorite things to do on your days off?

I like to relax and hang out with my kids. I also like to watch sports.


What is one movie you’ve watched more than five times?

Forrest Gump


What are three books you’d bring with you to a deserted island?

Snowball by Warren Buffet, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Hustle Smarter by Curtis Jackson


If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what album would it be?

The Blueprint by Jay-Z.


In your opinion, what’s the most rewarding part of working in your job?

Giving opportunities to others!


As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

NFL or NBA player.


If you could be part of any sitcom family or friend-group, which would you choose?

Gary Vee and Vitalik Buterin.


Star Wars or Star Trek?

Neither! I’m unfortunately not a big fan of Sci-Fi.


What are some of your favorite things to do in Greenville?

I like Greenville Drive games, eating at Rick Erwin’s and the Peddler Steakhouse, and going to TopGolf and Frankie’s Fun Park!
