GREENVILLE, S.C. – Quitchet is now the official App and search portal for The Greater Greenville Association of Realtors, while also becoming a new communication tool for the organization’s members, representing more than 4000 real estate professionals in the Upstate of SC.
Quitchet is a free real estate app and online search portal that unites buyers and sellers, agents, brokers, team leaders and MLS's with a seamless system that simplifies the entire home buying and selling process. A person can click one button from the view of any home to make an appointment with their agent or the listing agent.
From easy accurate searching and clear communication, to scheduling, mapping, providing feedback, comparing homes, safety, analytics, closing processes and more, Quitchet organizes the journey for all involved.
While giving agents and buyers more and better access to listings, Quitchet also allows for the easy scheduling of appointments. Quitchet has been added to the GGAR member benefits as one of the two ways that agents can make appointments for consumers or prospective buyers.
“Every member of GGAR is going to have access to this app,” said Bob Morgan, the president and CEO of Quitchet. “They’ll be encouraged to share it with their client base as well since it a free download for all consumers available in the App Store and Google Play and also now on the GGAR.com homepage.”
The breakthrough real estate app launched in October of 2020 and has been available exclusively with listings from the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors but soon to grow across the country.
“This is a huge accomplishment for Quitchet,” said Morgan. “We’ve spent the past few years refining and enhancing this app to make sure it is what everyone in the process of selling or buying a home needs.”
Nick Sabatine, Chief Executive Officer of the GGAR, said this change comes at a time when the Greenville housing market is at one of its all-time peaks in terms of demand for listings and people moving into the region from other parts of the country.
“We want to give our agents more opportunities to enhance their experience as GGAR members,” Sabatine said. “We have tested Quitchet for more than a year and we feel this is an amazing tool to help the market and anyone looking to move into or search the Upstate.”
Eric Weissmann, executive director of NEXT, said the Quitchet and GGAR coupling shows how the Greenville community is fostering and supporting entrepreneurs. Quitchet partnered with Kopis, Greenville-based software developer, for development and support of the app and website.
“Quitchet’s success in getting plugged into the community speaks volumes about the endless opportunities that exist for collaboration in Greenville” Weissmann said. “Innovative companies such as Kopis and Quitchet coming together and working in tandem with groups like the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors -this type of early-stage support is what sets Greenville apart and helps companies thrive here.
