OJRSA wants public input on Fair Play Area Sewer Basin Plan

SENECA, S.C. — The Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority (OJRSA) wants public feedback on the potential future of the Fair Play Area Sewer Basin.

The OJRSA and Oconee County held a public meeting on the plan in late June, and this is the next phase of gathering information, said Chris Eleazer, executive director of the OJRSA. People can click this link (also available at www.ojrsa.org/resources under the “Sewer Basin Public Survey” heading) to learn more and to complete a brief survey, which can be accessed at the bottom of the webpage. The survey will be available through July 17, 2022, and the study is expected to be completed by Fall 2022.

“The goal of this study is to consider potential future sewer needs in this area for the next 20 years in the southern Oconee County and western Anderson County areas,” he said.
