TheGreenvilleBlog

WILMINGTON, N.C. – NHE, Inc. one of the Southeast’s leading property management companies, has partnered with Olympus Development Company to be the onsite leadership team of The Nixon.

This three-story, 144 unit community is on Ruth Avenue in the Ogden area, and is a short drive to UNC-Wilmington, and numerous shopping centers. The Nixon is located on land once owned by Cornelius E. Nixon, who started an oyster shucking house on the site in the 1940s  that later grew into Nixon's Oyster Plant. The community’s name is a nod to this heritage.

This marks NHE’s first community inside Wilmington city limits. NHE apartment management divisions are overseen by a staff of highly experienced and educated individuals with the capability to maintain physical assets resulting in improved asset preservation.  NHE brings more than 50 years of professional property management experience with a proven track record of marketing and leasing multi-family developments with past achievements including 90% occupancy rates within the first 90 days of lease-up.

“This is a luxury Class A community,” said Taylor Davis, President of NHE. “We are excited to be helping Olympus  Development take it to the next level.”

Olympus Development’s team offers a boundless mix of seasoned development and construction experience combined with an understanding of the economics of multi-family communities. It specializes exclusively in the development of cost efficient, repeat design, attainable housing in high growth markets in the Southeast. With more than 2,000 units in various stages of the development process, it continues to seek new projects and partnerships to further its primary mission, attainable housing.

“The Nixon will set a new standard for upscale living, offering spacious residences with high-end finishes and first-class connectivity at one of the region’s most dynamic intersections. With resort-style amenities, including a swimming pool and fitness center, The Nixon is designed to provide both convenience and sophistication to its residents,” said Will Block, a partner with Olympus Development.
