Kopis to host webinar aimed at helping businesses with ERP in 2022

GREENVILLE, S.C.— One of South Carolina’s leading software companies is hosting a webinar this month aimed at business owners and managers wanting to better use and implement ERP systems in 2022.

Greenville-based Kopis will host the ERP Roadmap for 2022 on Tuesday, November 16 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., which focuses on how to evaluate ERP systems; important questions to ask when vetting vendors; a timeline overview from demo to launch day; budget considerations and understanding support and training options.

Speakers will be Adam Drewes, general manager of Kopis ERP, and Heather Mitchell, account manager. Drewes plays an integral role with Kopis ERP, helping organizations of all sizes become successful with high-tech solutions. He is responsible for the growth and innovation within Kopis ERP and manages a team of developers, account managers, consultants and project managers. For over a decade, Mitchell has been assisting companies with business technology transitions. Since joining Kopis last year, she has guided more than a dozen businesses into new ERP systems.

For growing companies, the transition from a simple accounting system to an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform that can help them handle maturing needs, is an often a difficult decision to make.

In 2020 Kopis launched ADEPT, an add-on for Dynamics 365 Business Central, that helps keep common workflows for 90% of the accounting functions, which reduces the training burden that comes with switching. Organizations who utilize this software will see their employees working in business central by the end of the day for the most common functions.

Combined with a streamlined onboarding process, this system will dramatically reduce the initial start-up phase that hinders most people from using ERP in their businesses and opens the gates for more companies to prepare for scaled growth.

“An ERP system is essential to the growth of your business. The software that helped you get where you are today may not be the software you need to take you to the next level,” said Andrew Kurtz, CEO and President of Kopis. “As we head in 2022, ERP systems that can scale both size and functionality far easier than simple accounting systems are one of the biggest items you will need in your business toolbox.
