Greenville's Kopis snags another award

GREENVILLE, S.C.— Premier software developer Kopis has moved up one spot from last year in the list of the Palmetto State’s fastest growing companies list.

This SC Fastest growing program is presented by The Capital Corporation and cosponsored by HUB International Carolinas and Integrated Media Publishing. It is in its 19th year and serves as a way to acknowledge publicly and privately owned businesses for their growth in revenue and employment. The designation also serves as recognition of business’ contribution to the states’ economy.

Kopis made the list in 2019 at number 13, and moved up to number 12 this year.

Founded in 1999, Kopis has deep roots in the South Carolina technology community. With senior experience specializing in database administration and application development for healthcare and automotive manufacturing, they have a track record of success in critical areas.

This marks another award for Kopis honoring its growth. It has earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list the past two years; was named CommunityWorks’ Entrepreneurial Success Story for 2019; is the current Greenville Chamber Small Business of the Year winner and this summer was named the fifth best place to work in South Carolina.

“This honor is a testament to the hard work of our entire team. Growth is not easy. Sustained growth is even harder,” said Andrew Kurtz, CEO of Kopis. “I am proud of all our staff who pulled together in 2020 to make us successful.”
