First Palmetto Bank Joins The Upstate Mortgage Market With Lending Team Lisa Gilstrap And Nick Smith


As one of South Carolina's oldest financial institutions, First Palmetto is excited to add a Greenville mortgage office to its current roster of 23 branches.


Greenville, SC, February 15, 2021: First Palmetto Bank is extending its reach into the Upstate market with mortgage loan officers Lisa Gilstrap and Nick Smith. The new office, located off Halton Road in Greenville, will provide full-service home loans and refinancing.


Gilstrap has more than 20 years of experience working in both retail and wholesale mortgage channels. She originally hails from Atlanta, Georgia and possesses a BA degree in finance from Kennesaw State University. She serves on the Advisory Council of Rebuild Upstate and is a board member of Momentum Bike Clubs.


Smith started his career in Mortgage Banking in 2018 after spending over ten years in finance-related positions for two Fortune 500 companies located in the Upstate. After growing up in the Greenville area, he attended Clemson University and received a BS in Financial Management. He currently serves on the Advisory Council for Rebuild Upstate.
