Final deadline to submit films for Reedy Reels 2024 Film Festival is December 31

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Piedmont Natural Gas presents Reedy Reels: The Greenville Film Festival is accepting film submissions for its 2024 festival happening this March.

Reedy Reels will take place at the South Carolina Children’s Theatre, located in downtown Greenville.

Downtown Greenville continues to make lists for its beauty and the city’s reputation for its art scene grows daily. Intricate murals cover local businesses, a yearly arts festival, Artisphere, brings in artists and art lovers from all over the Southeast, and there are hundreds of art galleries and artist studios all over Greenville County.

The city’s love of film is no different. Future filmmakers would be amiss to not submit a film to the Reedy Reels Film Festival and have the chance to network with other filmmakers and film professionals.

The awards given at this year's festival will be:

  • Best Feature Film (61 minutes or more)

  • Best Intermediate Film (21 - 60 minutes)

  • Best Short Film (up to 20 minutes)

  • Best Documentary Film

  • Best College Student Film

  • Best High School Student Film

  • Best Animation

  • Best Comedy

  • Best South Carolina Upstate Film (Local)

  • Best South East Regional Film (SC, NC, TN, GA)

  • People's Choice Film

  • Reedy Reels Film of Distinction

“Each year we just continue to see more and more talent,” said Matt Foster, one of the founders of Reedy Reels. “We hope any and all future filmmakers submit their films for the festival before the end of the year. We can’t wait to see what’s in store.”

Ready to submit your film? The deadline to submit is December 31. All submissions can be completed online, here: https://filmfreeway.com/ReedyReels
