Endeavor, the membership-based coworking and shared office space community for professionals in downtown Greenville’s ONE tower, announces it has hired Emmi Kodat as communications manager.
In her role as Communications Manager, Kodat will help bring “the Endeavor experience” to life online by overseeing the coworking space’s social media platforms and content marketing strategies. She will also monitor paid media campaigns, provide event support, and help coordinate public relations activities involving Endeavor and its members.
Kodat earned her Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Furman University and her master’s in business administration with an emphasis in human resource development from Clemson University. Her extensive experience in content creation, graphic design, and writing has demonstrated proven success in advancing organizations’ strategic objectives in the Greenville community.
Prior to Endeavor, Kodat served as mission advancement coordinator for United Ministries, spearheading the non-profit’s strategy to advance its mission through communications, fundraising initiatives and donation processing. Additionally, Kodat served as crisis ministry coordinator for Buncombe Street Methodist Church, where she built relationships with numerous local organizations to help alleviate poverty in the community. Most recently, Kodat served as a social media strategy consultant for the Greenville Homeless Alliance, where she would strategically and creatively engage and educate target audiences to action.
“Emmi is a terrific fit to serve as Endeavor’s Communications Manager,” said Shannon Wilbanks, managing partner of Endeavor. “Her past professional work, and her leadership and involvement in the Greenville community allowed us to add valuable and unique talents to our team. She has the experience, commitment and service ethic to help introduce Endeavor to new audiences – all while serving the variety of members and visitors who make the most of Endeavor’s work and meeting spaces.”
“I’m looking forward to communicating the intangible benefits that Endeavor provides that aren’t as well-known to the public – such as its collaborative community feel that encourages idea sharing among members, the pride members take in their workspace here, and the valuable business education events Endeavor hosts for our Greenville community,” said Kodat.
Kodat is a 2023 recipient of Greenville Business Magazine’s Best & Brightest 35 and Under award, serves on the Greenville Homeless Alliance’s Educate Work Group and chairs the Circles USA Service Committee. She has previously served on the advisory council for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Group, completed Greenlink’s Citizens Transit Academy, and supported Furman University as an alumni ambassador.
