Countybank Foundation donates $15K to Church of God Home for Children

The Countybank Foundation, established in 1971 representing Countybank and Greenwood Capital, donated $15,000 to the SC Church of God Home for Children.

The SC Church of God Home for Children provides a safe and secure home where children are loved and nurtured. Countybank and Greenwood Capital recently partnering with the Simpsonville Kiwanis Club to provide funding to support the renovation of four bathrooms in the home.

“We are proud to be able to support these necessary renovations to the home, which provides housing and care for 28 children in need,” said Jack Lucas, Simpsonville Market Executive for Countybank. “Our associates were also able to volunteer their time to this worthwhile cause by distributing mulch on the property.”

“Our goal is to make our community better for everyone, including vulnerable children, by supporting local organizations that are making a difference,” said Brian Disher, Director of Wealth Management for Greenwood Capital. “The SC Church of God Home for Children does just that, by providing family-style care for children in foster care.”

“We are incredibly thankful for organizations like Countybank and Greenwood Capital who are invested in supporting children in need in our community,” said Bishop Tim Kerns, Executive Director for the SC Church of God Home for Children. “This project is a great example of how donations of time, energy, and funds can make a lasting impact.”
