Colliers promotes two in Greenville

Colliers | South Carolina has promoted Scott Burgess and Lance Byars to vice presidents.

“This well-deserved recognition is a product of consistent hard work, a commitment to excellence within the retail sector and, of course, unsurpassed client service,” said David Feild, Colliers | South Carolina President and Market President of Colliers in Greenville and Spartanburg. “ Scott and Lance’s leadership have made Colliers a market-leading force in the Upstate region and beyond. Both of these professionals demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on client service.”

Both Burgess and Byars are based in Colliers’ Greenville office and specialize in retail brokerage services, assisting both landlords and tenants in reaching their real estate goals in the market.

Burgess’ prowess in retail leasing and sales transactions has led to multiple acknowledgments as a CoStar Power Broker in the Greenville market. He served on the Christ Church Episcopal School Alumni Board and was a founding board member of The Salvation Army of Greenville’s Echelon chapter, which aims to engage young professionals in advancing The Salvation Army’s mission. He is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Byars holds Real Estate Licenses in South Carolina and North Carolina and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Beyond his professional duties, he serves on The Salvation Army’s Board of Advisors, where he serves as Vice Chairman, and teaches a faith-based class to men in a local drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. He was honored with the Greenville County Volunteer of the Year award in 2015. He is also Chairman of the Greenville Health Authority.
