BASF Supports Oconee during the holidays

BASF is helping the people of Oconee County this holiday season through a series of donations.

BASF donated $2,250 to three Oconee County first responder agencies to help them better serve their local communities. Friendship Fire Department in Seneca, the Oconee County Hazmat Unit in Walhalla and the Seneca City Fire Department each received $750 from BASF.

In addition, BASF employees raised more than $1,300 in gift cards for Safe Harbor, a non-profit organization which supports victims of domestic violence in the Upstate. Gift cards will be distributed to mothers and older children to assist in purchasing necessities such as clothing, toiletries and more. BASF also collected new toys, personal care items, blankets, hats, socks, gloves, clothing and more to distribute to Safe Harbor clients.
