Kirkland is also a Leadership Spartanburg graduate, serves on the Upstate Workforce Investment Board, and was named to the SC Biz Manufacturing Power List in 2023.

“I’m honored to join the board of the Spartanburg Science Center, an organization that plays a vital role in strengthening our community,” said Kirkland. “At BASF ECMS, we believe in investing in the workforce of tomorrow by inspiring children’s interest in STEM careers. Partnering with the Science Center allows us to spark that curiosity and encourage young minds to explore the world of science.”
